We want to celebrate Easter with you and your family. Vineyard Richmond is a place where everyone is invited to come as they are… but don’t stay that way! Here’s what you can expect!

How long is service?

Service will last about 75 minutes. You’ll experience live worship music, an encouraging message, and a welcoming atmosphere.

What should I wear?

We are a church of real people and we don't require anyone to dress up. You will see some in jeans and tee-shirts, while others will be dressed business casual.

Will you have childcare?

Yes! We have fun, exciting, and safe kids areas that will provide a great experience for your child and peace-of-mind for you! We offer VKids for children birth through 5th grade.

VKids Elementary (K-5) will have an unforgettable Easter experience to explain the Easter Story! Bring a friend to enjoy it with them! Check out all the details in the VKids section below!

Our chalk wall artists will have a fresh Easter design as a backdrop for you and your family as you get an Easter picture together.

The Good Friday Journey

April 3rd, 5:30 - 8:30p

Step into the pages of scripture with a new interactive experience!

This is a self-paced journey about 30 minutes in length for you to experience as individuals, small groups, kids, or family groups. The church will be open to walk through from 5:30-8:30pm. And we will even have a meal available for you to share at $7 a person starting at 6:30pm.

VKids

Kids are welcome to sit with their family during service. However, VKids is open during each service for kids from birth all the way through 5th grade! This is a space for your kid to participate in a worship service that is designed for their level of engagement—alongside other kids their age.

Elementary Easter Escape Room

New this year for the elementary students— the Easter Escape Room! Kids will have a blast navigating through the escape room where whey will work together with their team. They’ll race against the clock solving mysteries, unlocking codes, and earning cool prizes. This celebration will include a time of worship along with a Bible story time will bring the Easter story to life!

first time tips

Stop by the large VKids desk in the middle of the Commons Area and the desk volunteer will get you registered and show you exactly where your classroom is.

You’ll receive two stickers. The Name Badge goes on your child, and the smaller Parent Pick-up Tag goes with you. Just keep your phone on you. If we need to contact you during service, a VKids team member will send you a call or text message.
